2013 was a year full of surprises, additions, and fun! Many of us enjoyed the festivities, new additions, and new lands! I also have some predictions for the new year of Star Stable. Below is a list of the top ten most exciting moments and additions of 2013!
Number Ten
Every year, Jorvik holds a Midsummer Festival. Riders were able to talk to Steve and help with the festivities! A bonfire, a banquet table, and a decorated flag pole made the Jorvik summer! Many players were able to join and have fun.
Number Nine
Star Stable offered a poster contest for 3 lucky players! The posters were beautiful and turned out well. Will they offer it again? Maybe. Keep your eyes peeled! You can check out the posters here. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see them.
Number Eight
Cute ponies have taken Jorvik by storm! There is even a special race for pony owners to enjoy their cute pals. I have seen many people riding the adorable additions and they all agree, the ponies are adorable and one of their favorite horses to buy!
Number Seven
A championship in Fort Pinta! You would think that Jorvik would already have a championship in Fort Pinta, right? WRONG! The new championship was only added on May 29th! While this championship is very popular, it is difficult for new players!
Number Six
Design your own T-Shirt! Seven player-made T-Shirts were added in game and can be bought at Fort Pinta. Originally, only 3 shirts were going to be picked out, but the overwhelming amount of entries helped them decide to choose seven shirts instead.
Number Five
Reed Kessler was added to the game to help us Star Stable riders in the big riding ring! In real life, Reed Kessler is the youngest rider in Show Jumping history to compete in the Olympic games! Riders were also able to receive her jacket, too.
Number Four
2013 was full of Star Rider weekends, Double Star Coins, Lifetime Members and just plain deals! Keep your eyes on the news page of Star Stable for any possible New Years deals.
Number Three
Star Stable turned 2 years on October 2nd 2013! Celebrations included clothes and gear, gifts, and star coins for all!
Number Two
The long awaited addition of your own stable and horses! You can now own up to 10 horses (nine additional) in your stable. At the time, only Morgans, English Thoroughbreds, and Dutch and Danish Warmbloods. Now, we have Westphalians, Andalusians, American Paint Horses, Morab, Oldenburgs, Selle Francais, Appaloosa, and Akhal-Tekes! More Information here, and for a list of locations and pictures, here.
Number ONE!
The opening of the Harvest Counties is a huge and successful hit! Every rider has been waiting for new land, and now, Star Riders can travel there! Check out the video below for an inside look.
