Caroline's Guide to Questing Efficiently and Quickly!
Questing, aside from horse related tasks, are one of the most popular things to do in Jorvik. Star Riders have access to many quests, while regular players do not have as much to do, unfortunately. Here are some tips to quest efficiently and quickly.
Quest Smart
Quest Smart
- Start with the quests that are in the bottom of your map first, (Fort Pinta, Moorland, Silverglade, Jarlaheim) one quest in Fort Pinta may ask you to go Moorland or Silverglade, and vice versa. Questing by grouped areas help a lot saving time and money.
- Once all lower-region quests are started/completed move onto higher-region (Vineyards, Valedale, Hollow Woods, North Link, Firgrove , ect.)
- Utilize the truck and trailer! That pink truck and trailer? Oh yea! It costs only 100 Jorvik Shillings or a couple Star Coins to go all over the place. I mostly use them to get to Valedale and Firgrove, but, depending were your home stable is, they can be useful.
- Plan out your home stable. Many players will choose Moorland for their home stables. Without payment you can be returned to your home stable from wherever you are, which is nice for questing. I would suggest not to have home stables in Valedale, Fort Pinta, or Firgrove. These places are far away from the major hubs - Moorland and Silverglade. Silverglade has quick access to the Winery, North Link, Golden Hills, Marley and Steve's Farms, and fairly quick access to Moorland. Moorland stables has quick access to Nilmer's Highland and Jarlaheim/Harvest Counties, Silverglade, Fort Pinta.
- You cannot always tell, but if you are doing a large quest, try to do most of it later in the day. You won't have to wait as long for tomorrow to come for all the "check back later" quests.
- When you are sent somewhere far off (Valedale, Golden Hills, Firgrove) begin questing and racing while you are there.
